Think Small

Whenever you decide to make a change in your life, it’s naturally going to be difficult.  When you finally decide that your life is too full, and you want to live a simpler life, it’s going to be very hard.  Cutting things out of your life is no easy task, and there will be struggling.

The process will also take time – quite a bit of it, if your life is as busy as most people’s.  You can’t change overnight, and you can’t achieve your goals instantly.  So don’t even try to – you will fail, and possibly end up quitting your journey.  Instead of trying to get to your end goal in one big step, it’s important to do one thing.

Think Small.

Make a single change.  Cut a single thing out of your life – whether it’s your old magazines, or a volunteer group that isn’t important to you.  Whatever that one thing is, it won’t solve all your problems.  But it is one step in the right direction.  One small step that gets you that much closer to where you want to be in life.

I love it! It goes against so much of what we’re told. But I think it really is the only thing that works.

“Go big or go home” – That phrase comes to mind. We need to forget all that, and start thinking small.
