SingleTasker Saturday is a new feature here at The Simple Llama. Every Saturday, I’ll feature an item that does, well, just a single task. These items go against everything I believe in, and are meant for everyone’s amusement. I don’t intend to purchase any of the SingleTaskers, and I don’t recommend that you do either.
It’s not exactly a secret that I like Twitter. Probably more than I should, given my time constraints. But I’ve already banged out nearly 1,500 tweets, so I can profess to being a Twitter-holic. It would seem that the device featured on today’s Singletasker Saturday is made just for me. Meet the TwitterPeek. While it may look like a smartphone, I can assure you, it’s no such thing. The TwitterPeek does one thing, and one thing only – lets you access Twitter.
I’ll give you a moment to take all that functionality in.
Got it?
Just to clarify: No phone calls. No SMS. No Email. No general web access. All you get is the ability to read tweets, create tweets, and search tweets. That’s it. All for the bargain price of $200 ( lifetime service included ). Oh, and you have to lug the thing around, in addition to your cell phone, which can probably already handle your Twitter needs.
