Yes, you read that correctly. It slices your strawberries. Unbelievable.
Some may think, Why not use that sharp blades instrument we call a knife? And you could, but that would just be silly. Instead, it’s better to buy yet another single-tasker, and take up yet more space in an already overcrowded kitchen.
Besides the space and clutter, this incredible device will only set you back $6 – how can you say no?

Hands off my strawberry slicer! You try to cut up a box of strawberries for a Thanksgiving salad! Ours actually broke half-way through prep one Thanksgiving and doing it by hand was seriously slooooooooow.
It does do other things, though. It’s very useful for slicing eggs and other small soft things. But get one like the one above — NOT the wire ones. They break too easily.
I admit, if you’re not slicing a bunch things like that then it’s not much use. And we don’t HAVE to have ours. But it’s a good tool for the job if you have to do it.
I’ve never seen a strawberry slicer – I guess I’m old fashioned; I happily use a knife.
