SingleTasker Saturday: SensorFreshQ

SingleTasker Saturday is a new feature here at The Simple Llama. Every Saturday, I’ll feature an item that does, well, just a single task. These items go against everything I believe in, and are meant for everyone’s amusement. I don’t intend to purchase any of the SingleTaskers, and I don’t recommend that you do either.

Have you even started to cook meat or chicken, and suddenly forgot how to check if the meat you’re preparing is unspoiled? I know, you’re thinking “But Llama, couldn’t I just smell it?” And you could, if you wanted. But that takes work, and doesn’t involve buying yet another gadget to help fill your kitchen drawers. Today I introduce a brilliant device to you – the SensorFreshQ Food Safety Tester.

Rather than smelling the food yourself, the SensorFreshQ will do it for you. By measuring the amount of bacteria-produced gasses above the food, this amazing device can do the smelling for you. Green light means continue, and red light means throw the food away or your spleen will burst. Sure, it takes about a minute, rather than the fraction of a second it would take you to inhale. But that’s not important, because this device smells the food for you. Did I mention it smells the food for you? Surely that’s worth the $90 asking price, and the space in your kitchen.
