Simple Links

Apr 6, 2010

I haven’t done this here before, but I’m going to try to put up a couple inspiring links that Simple Llama readers may find interesting.  Maybe you’ve already read a few, and maybe some are new.  Anyway, here’s a couple that caught my eye in the last few days.

Everett Bogue wrote “15 BITS OF WISDOM FROM 6 MONTHS OF BLOGGING SUCCESS” which is pretty much what it sounds like – stuff Everett has learned in his short, already very successful blogging career.  I can really related to #8 – Perfect is the enemy of done.  It reminds me a bit of a post I wrote called Sometimes good enough is good enough.

Leo over at Zen Habits wrote about lessons we can learn from Ghandi.  I don’t know a ton about Ghandi’s life, but what i do know is impressive.  This man took minimalism and peace to the extreme.

Joshua from Becoming Minimalist wrote about the boy and the sundae.  The boy in the story skipped out on a bigger, fancier ice cream so he could do the right thing and leave a tip.  All this, even after the waitress was a little curt with him.

That’s it for this week.  No list of 187 amazing things here.  That wouldn’t exactly be simple, now would it?
