So, you’ve decided to start decluttering your life, and start getting rid of stuff. Congratulations! You’ve made a fantastic choice, and I’m certain that you’ll enjoy the change. Surely you’ve gotten started by now, and I hope that you have started small. As I’ve said in the past, it’s important not to overwhelm yourself with huge changes right away – that’s a recipe for disaster.
Maybe you started with a room, a desk, or even just a drawer, and slowly moved on from there. Your task for today is to go back and revisit where you started. That first room or desk – go take a look at it again. Has any clutter crept back in where it doesn’t belong?
It’s ok, don’t freak out. It’s normal for *some* clutter and stuff to find it’s way back in decluttered zones. Especially when you’re still working on figuring things out – it’s going to happen. That said, you have to take care of it. Since the hard work is done, it should only take a few minutes to get things back in tip-top shape. Spend 5 minutes, tidy things up, and enjoy your masterpiece once more.
