Apple has, for years, included the Mighty Mouse with all their desktop products. It’s a pretty simple design in it’s own right – with a single button and tiny scroll wheel. But yesterday, Apple set a new standard for minimalism in computer mice – the Magic Mouse.
What’s the big deal about the Magic Mouse? No buttons. No scroll wheel. Just a glass-smooth multi-touch surface with which to interact. Of course there’s no cord as well – it uses Bluetooth technology to connect with your computer. All modern Macs have bluetooth built in, so compatibility shouldn’t be an issue.
I’m not sure if my carpal tunnel syndrome will allow me to use this incredible, minimalist mouse comfortably… but I’m willing to try.
